Privacy statement.
Short and clear: this website collects no data, and what you entrust to me is used only for its intended purpose.
This is a translation. In case of differences, the Dutch version prevails.
Who I am
QL Digital is a trade name of QL Management B.V., based in The Hague and registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 35028225. Principle: as little data as possible
I only process personal data that is needed to stay in contact with you or to carry out an assignment. I do not build files of clients or prospects, use no newsletters or marketing lists, and never sell or rent out data.
This website
- The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking or advertising pixels.
- The contact form sends your message via this website's own server directly to my business mailbox. The message is not stored in a database or on the website. To prevent abuse, the server keeps an anonymous code derived from your IP address for no longer than one hour; it cannot be traced back to you.
- All parts of the website, including fonts, are loaded from our own server. No third-party services (such as Google) are loaded.
- The hosting provider may briefly keep technically necessary server logs (such as IP address and time) for security and to keep the website running properly.
Contact and introduction
When you email me or use the form, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, organisation, email address, phone number if provided, and your question. I use these solely to answer your question and to schedule a conversation if relevant. If the contact does not lead to an assignment, I delete the correspondence once the contact has ended.
Interim assignments and advisory projects
For interim and advisory assignments, I often work within the client's organisation and systems. The following agreements apply:
- For each assignment, I record in an engagement contract which work I carry out, which information I need for it, and how confidential information and personal data are handled.
- Personal data I come into contact with during an assignment (for example of the client's employees, customers or suppliers) remains the responsibility of the client. I use it only for the assignment and in line with the client's instructions and policies.
- Where the GDPR requires it, we also conclude a data processing agreement, or I follow the client's data processing arrangements.
- I prefer to work in the client's environment and with the client's tools, and I keep no copies of client data.
- At the end of the assignment, I return or delete any information as agreed in the contract. The duty of confidentiality continues after the assignment.
Use of AI
During assignments I may use AI tools, for example to organise information, draft documents or write code. Client data is only shared with AI tools when agreed in advance, and only with tools that comply with the GDPR and the client's policies. I never share confidential information or personal data with public AI services that use data to train their models. The agreements on this are recorded per assignment in the engagement contract.
Administration
For completed assignments, I only keep the business data that is legally required, such as contracts and invoices with the contact details stated on them. The statutory retention period for tax purposes is seven years. I use this data for nothing else.
Vurbis
In my role as Country Partner at Vurbis, data is processed under the responsibility of Vurbis and in line with the Vurbis privacy policy. Data from QL Digital assignments is not shared with Vurbis unless agreed with you.
Sharing with third parties
I do not share personal data with third parties, except when this is necessary to carry out an assignment and has been agreed with the client, or when I am legally required to do so. For email and administration, I use carefully selected service providers within the European Economic Area, or with appropriate safeguards.
Security
I take appropriate measures to protect data, including encrypted connections, two-step verification on business accounts and limited access to information.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing and object to it. To do so, send an email to introductie@qldigital.nl; I will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how your request is handled, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
This statement may be updated if the website or my way of working changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
